The application period for the 7th District Benevolent Fund scholarships 2026 is now open. This has been an exteremely successful program that has assisted hundreds of our members dependents in furthering their post high-school education. As in the past we will have 10 scholarships available. Attached is the student application, the scholarship policy and a checklist.
It is a fact that PFAS is in our turnouts that we don every shift, adding to our risk of contracting cancer. Attached is information you may find useful to share with members and talk with management about. This is just a stop gap until there are PFAS free turnouts available to us.
